Gunmen have killed an oil magnate, Femi Oso, at his filling station, Osofem Oil and Gas, located at NITEL bus stop in Ifo Local Government area of the State, an incident reported to have occurred Sunday night.
Reports say that the gunmen arrived the petrol station and shot Oso in the head, thereafter made away with his car, with number plate EKY903GZ, which was later found at Obada-Oko in Ewekoro Local Government of the State
The deceased’s relative identified as Harbee, narrating the incident, said the businessman was preparing to go home when the gunmen stormed the station and shot him, while he was making efforts to escape.

“He was about to go home when they came to attack him. He tried to escape and they shot him in the head, took his car and money and went away. We found the car at Obada Oko. The car was packed in the bush. It’s currently at the police station,” he said
Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident, adding that it was a case of armed robbery, which the authorities had commenced investigation on.
“It’s a case of armed robbery and the Command is investigating it. We learnt they came in military uniform and they killed the man. I think there was information about the man that he was coming with some amount of money. So, they took away the vehicle with the money inside it. We are still investigating the incident,” he added.
