The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has dedicated the party campaign council to God ahead of 2023 general election in the state.
Speaking during the dedication service on Sunday held at All Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket, Pastor Eno emphasized that the reason for dedicating the campaign council to God was to seek divine guidance as the campaign train takes off to different parts of the state.
His words, “We came here this morning to ask God to guide and guard us. When I laid the foundation of this sanctuary, 19 years ago, I never knew a day like this would come. We believe that it is our responsibility to guide everybody through prayers.
“Our earnest prayer is that after the campaigns, as we will be counting down to elections, no one will be missing. Our trust is in God, and as we know, some trust in chariots but we trust in God Almighty.
“Let’s go out there in boldness and trust God that it’s time for our prosperity to breakthrough because in my time, all the things Governor Udom Emmanuel has done, we will connect the dots for prosperity,” he said.
