Chairman of the United Obidient Support Group in Delta State, Comrade Favour Emerure, says the aim of the group is to harmonize and unify Obidient Movement across the 25 local government areas of the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Comrade Emerure, made the pledge at Ughelli, during a town hall organized by the state chapter of the Obidient United Support Group.
He pointed out that the groupwhile strategising for the 2027 general elections, will continue to champion the cause for good governance and accountability through grassroots engagement, dedication to promoting unity, justice and equity in the quest for a better Delta State and a better Nigeria.
Comrade Josiah Emenuwoma in his speech titled: “Honesty and righteousness,” expressed his disappointment with elected Labour Party members in the House of Representatives for defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Labour Party chieftain stressed the need for the party presidential candidate in the last general elections, Mr. Peter Obi and the party’s national chairman to settle their differences and work together ahead the 2027 polls.
Speaking on the quest for good governance, Mr. Nwanne Utomi, who joined the meeting via zoom from the USA, posited that good governance is attainable if corruption is swept away.
He added that quality education, social security and bringing an to insurgency in parts of the country will reflect Mr. Peter Obi’s good governance model if he is given the opportunity to be president.
Speaking on the subject: “Building on formidable grassroots political structure,” Chukwudi Analo, identified the lack of structure as the main challenge that the Labour Party faced during the last general elections, expressing optimism that the structures of the party will get better going forward.
