The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and Alliance for Youth Nigeria (AYN), have agreed to a partnership that helps boost the capacity of Nigeria youths which will make them more employable while fostering job creation.
The delegation of the youth group was led by the Coordinator of the group, Mr Shakiru Lawal on a courtesy visit to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, at his office in Abuja, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Lawal, who is the Country Human Resource Manager at Nestle Nigeria PLC, expressed their desire to partner with the Ministry to make a remarkable impact in these areas.
In his speech, the Coordinator explained that the initiative which will see the Ministry and AYN partner together will increase the value of Nigerian youths to be more gainfully employed in the country’s highly populated workspace.
“The initiative will strive to make the youth more employable in today’s workspace and also support youth entrepreneurship for persons within ages 16-35,” Lawal said.
Following the Youth group’s proposition, Dare commended the initiative and thanked them for the positive impact they are making towards ensuring the lives of Nigerian youths change for the better.
