A socio-political organisation under the aegis of Tinubu and Shetima volunteers of Bayelsa state have called on the people of the state and non-indigenes to massively vote for the APC and its Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Shetima in the February, 25th general elections.
This was just as the group also urged the people of to vote for all APC candidates in the state for the forthcoming elections.
Grand patron of the group and a chieftain of the party in the state, Barr. Festus Daumiebi, who was the party’s senatorial candidate for the state’s Central Senatorial District in the 2019 general elections made the call while inaugurating the units, wards and local government areas coordinators of the group for the Asiwaju/Shetima project in Yenagoa, the state capital recently.
Daumiebi reminded the people of how the PDP had been given opportunities to develop the country, particularly the State in the past, alleging that the former failed completely.
He said: “Such a political party and its presidential candidate with baggage of multiple corruption allegations and indictments cannot be entrusted with our collective patrimony at this critical time in our history when our nation is struggling with daunting challenges, ranging from the economy to security.

“The harvest of PDP in 16 years was maladministration and clueless looting of our nation’s treasury”.
The party chieftain emphasised the need for credible, competent and development-oriented leaders like Tinubu and Shetima to be entrusted with the responsibility of building the new Nigeria of our dreams, saying the antecedents of both leaders in their respective States when they held sway as helmsmen make the duo the best pair for Nigeria.
The former Senatorial standard bearer called on the people of the state not to be deceived by the antics of failed politicians who remember them only during election years, assuring members of the Asiwaju and Shetima volunteers that with the duo as the custodians of Nigeria’s security and economy, a new nation is possible.
