The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has reiterated his commitment to implementing developmental projects without borrowing or accumulating debt.
Sani made this promise during the groundbreaking ceremony for a 16.5-kilometre road that will connect Kayarda Tasha, Kayarda Gari, Unguwan Sarki, Maskawa, and Dan Alhaji in the Lere Local Government Area.
He stated that a reputable construction company would manage the project, calling it a historic achievement for Lere LGA.
The governor also mentioned that his administration has taken over several unfinished projects from previous administrations and pledged to complete them before his term ends.
“The Rewa Bridge, which connects Gure town, has been finished. The Marjeri Bridge is also complete, and the Tudai Bridge will be done in the next month or two,” he noted.
Sani further indicated that measures are being taken to resolve the electricity issues in the Yarkasuwa, Kayarda, Ramin Kura, and Mariri communities.
In his address, the Commissioner for Environment, Alhaji Abubakar Buba, praised Sani as a man of his word who has empowered the people of Lere through key appointments and infrastructure development.
