Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has approved the creation of a dedicated equipment maintenance unit to ensure proper management and optimal utilisation of the state’s heavy machinery.
The new unit, which will operate directly under the governor’s office, is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the maintenance, coordination, and efficient deployment of all heavy equipment owned by the state government.
Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijani, the move aligns with ongoing development projects and follows recent procurement of heavy-duty machines.
