Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on Tuesday, flagged -off the construction of a 7.1-kilometre dual carriageway linking Terminus Junction to Molai in Maiduguri.
The major infrastructure project includes a six-span bridge and what will become the state’s fourth flyover, located at the busy Post Office area.
The project, which is part of Borno’s broader urban renewal programme, aims to ease traffic congestion, enhance mobility within the city, and create hundreds of job opportunities.
It is expected to be completed within 10 months, with Gov. Zulum confirming that 50 percent of the project cost has already been disbursed to the contractor.
