Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has condemned the gruesome killing of Rev. Bala Galadima, the presiding pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Lubo, Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area of the state.
Rev. Galadima was reportedly murdered in the early hours of Sunday, by suspected armed robbers at his residence in Lubo.
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting swift condemnation from the state government.
In a statement, Gov. Yahaya described the killing as a brutal attack on the peace and security of Gombe State. He vowed that those responsible will be apprehended and held accountable.
“We will not allow criminal elements to disrupt the harmony and security that define our state. I have directed security agencies to leave no stone unturned in tracking down the perpetrators and bringing them to justice,” the governor declared.

Reassuring residents of his administration’s commitment to public safety, Gov. Yahaya emphasized that the state government will take decisive measures to eliminate criminal threats.
The governor also extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the ECWA Church, and the entire Christian community. He prayed for the repose of Rev. Galadima’s soul and strength for those mourning his loss.
The governor directed security operatives in the state to intensify efforts to apprehend the assailants and prevent further attacks.
