Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has praised the pace of development in Abia State under his administration, declaring that more transformative projects are on the way.
Speaking during a recent address, the governor described his leadership as people-focused and independent, emphasizing that his government operates without political godfathers and is fully committed to serving the interests of Abians.
Gov. Otti noted that although significant strides have already been made, his administration is only at the early stages of its development agenda.

“We are just getting started; the people have not seen anything yet,” he said.
The governor highlighted the forthcoming commissioning of the Umuahia Bus Central Terminal, which he described as a landmark infrastructure project.
According to him, the facility is believed to be the largest bus terminal in Nigeria and is expected to enhance transportation and economic activity in the state.
Reaffirming his commitment to delivering tangible results, Gov. Otti stressed that his government would continue to prioritize critical infrastructure and projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
“This is your government, a government with no godfather, a government ordained by God. We have no choice but to work for our people,” he added.
