The Godwin Obaseki-led administration had abandoned the government-owned transport company, leaving it to rot with its fleets of vehicles.
Speaking at the premises of the company, the governor said: “I am here to look at Edo Line as this place has been abandoned for years and to see how we can revive it and put it back to use. This place is bushy and the place is completely abandoned.
“I am trying to find out if these vehicles here are the only assets of Edo Line. The few vehicles you are seeing now were more than this. I know they have more than 200 vehicles. We will look for those vehicles, get them back and use them to revive this place.”
