Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has presented new SUV vehicles to three staff of the Government House in recognition of their dedication and hard work.
The presentation, which took place at the Government House, Benin City, was aimed at motivating workers who have shown exceptional commitment to their duties.
While handing over the vehicles, Gov. Okpebholo praised the staff for their discipline and punctuality to duty, noting that their consistent habit of resuming early and closing late did not go unnoticed.
The governor said that “today, I allowed this to happen late because I wanted to know whether you would close early so that you will miss your luck.
“God kept you, and it has been your habit that you come early and close late. One day I saw you trekking and walking very fast to get to the office before time, so I took note of that.
“I watch carefully. You deserve this, and I want you to continue in this manner. We are here to serve Edo people.”
