Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has called for unity and collaboration among citizens, political, religious and traditional leaders to ensure the continued growth and prosperity of the state.
Speaking during the festival of nine lessons and carols/end of year thanksgiving service held at the Government House Chapel in Asaba, on Thursday, the governor highlighted the harmonious relationship between the three arms of government and called on all Deltans to remain committed to peace and progress of the state.
Gov. Oborevwori praised the cooperation existing among the leaders of the state, stating that the synergy transcends political affiliations and focuses on the collective interest of the people.
“This season is one of celebration and unity. It is an opportunity for us to pray for the success and unity of Delta State and our country, Nigeria. What stands out here is the synergy between the three arms of government in our state. When I see leaders, regardless of their political parties, coming together for the interest of the state, it is a sign of the peace and unity we are enjoying,” Gov. Oborevwori said.
