Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oboervwori has approved the appointment of Chief Ighoyota Amori as his chief adviser.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Enu, said that the appointment takes immediate effect.

Chief Amori has held various positions in the past in the state, including serving as commissioner of education and water resources, chief political advisor to the governor, and chairman of the Asaba capital territory development Agency.
