Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has donated three brand new Nissan Hiluxes to Some Security Agencies in the State.
This is to ensure adequate mobility for security agencies in the state in line with their statutory responsibility to secure lives and property.
Nwifuru made the donation at the New Government House, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki.
Speaking while handing over the vehicles to the benefitting Security Agencies, the Governor who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant, Office of the Governor, Chief Uchenna Nwankpuma enjoined the heads of the Security Agencies to ensure the use of the Hiluxes only in combating crime and related matters.

Reacting, the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mr. Elijah Willie thanked the Governor for the gesture and assured that the State’s security architecture would receive a boost courtesy of the gesture.
Those who received the vehicles include the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria Correctional Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
