Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has dismissed two of his aides from office for acts of gross misconduct.
The sacked aides are Mr. Nnannna Nwangele, special assistant to the governor on airport security and Mr. Felix Okemini, senior special assistant to the governor on security (Ebonyi North).
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Grace Umezurike and made available to journalists in Abakalili.

Consequently, the officers were directed to handover all government properties in their possession to the secretary to the state government, not later than 4 pm today.
Also, the officers were warned not to be seen around the Government House, Abakaliki or participate in any government activity.
