The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Muftwang, has pledged to forward the land administration committee reports to the Presidency to secure necessary support.
He assured the people of the state that the issue will be treated seriously and that justice will prevail.
In a detailed message on his X handle, Gov. Muftwang relayed his commitment to taking decisive action: “Today, I received the reports from the committees on resettlement and land administration, two critical milestones in our mission to rebuild Plateau State.”
He said the Resettlement Committee, led by Air Commodore Christopher Pam (rtd) has outlined a clear plan for the safe and phased return of displaced persons to their ancestral homes.
He thanked members of the committees for their bravery in navigating volatile areas.

“We are now beginning the journey home with a focus on security, reconstruction, and dignity.
“I plan to present this report to President Tinubu and seek urgent federal support. Plateau deserves peace,” the governor said.
