The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has expressed shock over the death of Mr. Kani Ben, a cameraman with Channels Television, who died after sustaining injuries in a motor accident while on official assignment in the state.

Mr. Ben was part of a media team covering the commissioning of projects executed by the North-East Development Commission (NEDC), alongside the minister of state for regional development when the accident occurred.

He was rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, where he later passed away in the early hours of Saturday despite efforts by medical personnel to save his life.
