Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering religious harmony and driving inclusive development across the state.
Represented by his Special Adviser on Muslim Religious Affairs, Hussaini Ismaila, at the one-day “Faithful Gathering” summit, Gov. Kefas emphasized that his government remains focused on promoting unity among all religious groups.
The event, organized by the office of the special adviser on muslim religious matters, brought together Islamic scholars, chief imams, and Muslim organizations from all 16 local government areas of Taraba State.
Speaking at the summit, Ismaila highlighted key initiatives by the Gov. Kefas administration aimed at supporting the Muslim community.
These, according to him, include the sponsorship of pilgrims to this year’s hajj and the governor’s notable gesture of breaking fast during Ramadan with underprivileged citizens, a historic first in the state’s leadership.
On security, Ismaila noted a marked reduction in kidnapping and other criminal activities under Gov. Kefas’s watch, attributing the improvements to the administration’s proactive measures in maintaining peace and stability across Taraba.
