Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has called on residents of Madagali Local Government Council of the state to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to security agencies without hesitation.
The governor made the appeal during a working visit to Madagali, his hometownon Thursday, where he met with traditional leaders and residents.
Speaking at the palace of the Ptil Madagali, Alhaji Ali Danburam, in Gulak, Gov. Fintiri stressed that no society can prosper while harboring criminals.
He warned that anyone caught aiding or concealing criminals would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
While commending the improved security situation in the area, which he described as “calm,” Gov. Fintiri encouraged residents to go about their daily routines without fear.

He emphasized that his administration had made significant progress in securing the state, leading to notable economic growth and better living standards for the people.
The governor also used the occasion to highlight developmental strides achieved under his leadership, particularly in the security sector, which he said had played a critical role in stabilizing communities and driving progress.
In response, the Ptil Madagali,who thanked the governor for his visit, reaffirmed the chiefdom’s support for the administration’s peace and development efforts.
He praised the state government’s commitment to restoring normalcy and pledged continued collaboration to sustain peace in the region.
