Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has swore in Alhaji Hamajumba Gatugel as the new Commissioner of Transport.
Also swore in today in a ceremony held at the Council Chambers of the Government House in Yola is Justina Obadiah Nkom as a Special Adviser.
The swearing-in ceremony, conducted by the State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Afraimu Jingi, as noticed by The Trumpet, marked the formal installation of the new commissioner and special adviser.
Governor Fintiri congratulated both appointees, expressing his confidence in their abilities to carry out their new roles effectively.
He wished them a successful tenure and encouraged them to use their expertise to contribute to the progress of the state.

Alhaji Gatugel, in his response, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and promised to bring his extensive experience as a unionist to the role. He also pledged to support the Governor’s vision and work towards the success of the state government.
Alhaji Gatugel replaces Musa Mahmud Kalamu, who vacated the position after winning the seat representing the Mayo Belwa constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
Justina Obadiah Nkom’s role as Special Adviser, our correspondent learnt is expected to enhance the governor’s administration, offering strategic guidance and support.
