Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has condemned the recent attacks on communities in Madagali and Hong Local Government Areas, describing the incidents as cowardly acts of terrorism that will not be tolerated.
In a statement issued Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor warned those behind the violence to immediately cease their actions or face serious consequences.
“We will not allow terrorists to undermine the peace and stability we have worked hard to restore.
“Those behind these senseless acts must stop now or face the full weight of our collective resolve,” the governor said.
Gov. Fintiri reassured residents of his administration’s firm commitment to combating terrorism and protecting lives and property across the state.
He noted that the government has successfully addressed similar security challenges in the past and remains resolute in its determination to do so again.
The governor pledged continued collaboration with security agencies to ensure that those responsible are tracked down and brought to justice.

Gov. Fintiri also commended security personnel for their bravery, dedication, and sacrifices in defending communities, assuring them of sustained government support.
Urging for calm, Gov. Fintiri called on citizens to go about their lawful activities without fear, emphasizing that the government remains fully committed to their safety.
“We have your back. We will protect you and your livelihoods,” he assured, while appealing for public cooperation with ongoing security efforts.
The governor stressed that unity and collective resolve among the people of the state would ultimately defeat terrorism and lay the foundation for lasting peace and development.
