Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has signed the state’s 2025 budget of ₦486,218,047,600 into law.
The budget titled: “Budget of service” was approved by the state House of Assembly and officially signed on Monday at the Government House in Yola.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Gov. Fintiri emphasised that the budget is aimed at financing the state government’s programmes and services for the 2025 fiscal year.
He noted that the budget was developed based on key macro-economic indicators, including an oil production benchmark of 1.8 million barrels per day, an oil price benchmark of $80 per barrel and an exchange rate of ₦1,314.94 to the US dollar.

The governor expressed his appreciation to the state House of Assembly for their cooperation and support during the budget process.
He assured the people of Adamawa that the funds would be managed transparently, with strict accountability for every naira spent.
Gov. Fintiri also expressed confidence in the budget’s transformative potential, stating that its successful implementation would propel Adamawa to become one of Nigeria’s most developed states.
Commending the media for their role in providing accurate information to the public, he urged them to continue fostering a positive partnership with the government in 2025.
He further expressed hope for significant improvements in Nigeria’s socio-economic conditions in the near future.
