Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has officially resumed work after a three-week annual vacation, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to delivering impactful programs and projects that will transform the state.
The Governor, who embarked on his leave on November 25, returned to office on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. In a statement released by his spokesperson, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, Governor Diri expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bayelsa for their unwavering prayers and support during his time away.

Speaking upon his return, Governor Diri emphasized that his administration remains focused and united in fulfilling its promises to the people.
