The Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri has felicitated Air Vice Marshall Sunday Aneke on his appointment as the new Chief of Air Staff by President Bola Tinubu.
Air Vice Marshall Aneke was until his appointment the Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command, Yenagoa.
A statement by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Ebiuwou Obiyai on behalf of the state governor, described Air Vice Marshal Aneke as a fine gentleman who will add value to the nation’s security architecture and promoting peace and security in the country.

“Our hearty congratulations to Air Vice Marshall Sunday Kelvin Aneke on his well-deserved elevation as the Chief of Air Staff.
“As a fine, thorough bred gentleman officer, we are confident that he will add value to the security architecture and the renewed effort at promoting peace and national security,” Gov. Diri said.
The governor also commended President Bola Tinubu for putting the round peg in the round hole in the appointment of the new chief of air staff.
