Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condemned the bandit attack in the Eruku community and is urging for an urgent increase in security personnel throughout the Ekiti Local Government Area.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday, the governor called on security agencies to promptly deploy more officers to enhance the area’s defense and prevent further incidents of violence.
He labeled the attack as intolerable and expressed his condolences to the residents of Eruku, particularly to the families and members of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) affected by the incident on Tuesday.

The governor emphasized that the state government will continue to support security forces in their efforts to safeguard lives and property throughout Kwara State.
Gov. AbdulRazaq also commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the addition of 900 troops to the state, noting that this action has already helped restore peace in several previously troubled areas and is anticipated to provide a stronger deterrent and ongoing safety for the community.
