The Gongola Peoples Forum (GPF) has congratulated the Ptil Madagali, His Royal Majesty Dr. Ali Danburam, and the people of Madagali Chiefdom on the successful constitution and swearing-in of the Chiefdom’s Traditional Council.
The inauguration ceremony, which drew dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers from within and outside the Chiefdom, was described by GPF as a “historic step and watershed” in the effort to strengthen traditional governance in Adamawa State.
According to a statement signed by GPF National Chairman, Engr. Markus Natina Gundiri, the newly constituted Council includes: The Council members included HE, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Tsal Kasala Sheshilga of Madagali; Ambassador Abba Ibrahim, Galadima of Madagali; Alhaji Hamza Bello, Kachalla of Madagali; Hon. Emmanuel Tsamdu, Madawaki of Madagali; Dr.Johnson B. Malgwa, Marafa of Madagali; Engr. Dennis Chinda, Tafida of Madagali; Hon. Marcel Gyala, Wali of Madagali; Professor Abba Waziri, Waziri Madagali Chiefdom; Hon. Saleh Kinjir, Shettima of Madagali Chiefdom; Hon. Hamisu Idris Medugu, Sardauna of Madagali and Alh. Sule Hyanam Dan Galadima of Madagali Chiefdom.
GPF commended Governor Fintiri for spearheading reforms aimed at creating a more inclusive and functional traditional institution in Adamawa State, noting that Madagali Chiefdom had taken the lead in consolidating these efforts.

The Forum prayed for God’s blessings and wisdom for the newly sworn-in council members in discharging their duties, while reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen unity and traditional governance across the state.
