The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, have arrived in Sokoto. The high-profile visit follows President Bola Tinubu’s urgent directive for the nation’s top defence chiefs to relocate to the troubled state.
Upon arrival at the Headquarters of the 8 Division Nigerian Army in Sokoto, the delegation was welcomed by Brigadier General Ajose, who currently leads the 8 Division and serves as the Force Commander for the Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji.
