The fresh revelations on the latest modus of Operandi now adopt by Criminal gangs terrorizing residents of Lagos was exposed to The Trumpet last night during one on one encounter with a 15 man criminal gang arrested by Police Operatives attached to the Tolu Divisional headquarters Lagos State Police command.
According to the leader of the gang who gave his name as Milla Sunday the use of fight is only to put fear among residents of the area which will further force many people to abandon their Shops and make it easy for break and entry, The Trumpet gathered.

The Tolu area in Ajegunle suburb of Lagos has been considered the most notorious area in Lagos State over the years based on statistics from the Lagos State Police Command situation reports.

It was based on the spate of armed robbery that we have recorded in the area that prompted the former Lagos police commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu AIG (rtd) to deploy a tactical gallant Officer in the person of Obong Etuk, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to move swiftly and get all the Criminals out of their hideout. This singular move had been paying off. As of yesterday community Leaders in the area came to thank the DPO and his men for a job well done while urging them not to relax in their effort to rid the entire Ajegunle of criminals.

Speaking further to The Trumpet at the Station, Inspector Omoh Anthony who is also the Station Officer (SO)Tolu Police division said “these boys have been unleashing terror in this area for the past years until we got a new DPO who on assumption of Office introduce a new approach to tackle criminals and since then, it has been positive results all the way. We always arrest them and hand them over to the Lagos State Task Force to continue investigation. I told them the game have change it will no longer be business as usual we now have a new Sheriff in Town.
