Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is scheduled to fight Arslanbek Makhmudov in the UK on April 11, marking his return from retirement.

The match, which will be streamed on Netflix, will be Fury’s first since his loss to unified champion Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch in December 2024.

The 37-year-old Briton had announced his retirement a month after that defeat but revealed his comeback to boxing earlier this month.

“I’m thrilled to be back,” Fury stated. “My heart has always been in boxing and always will be. Someone tell the king that the ace is back!”

Arslanbek Makhmudov, a 36-year-old Russian, has a record of 21 wins out of 23 fights, with his most recent victory over Briton Dave Allen in October.

Fury, who first announced his retirement in 2022, has not fought in the UK since December 2022, when he defeated Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to retain his WBC title.

The fighter from Morecambe boasts 34 wins from 37 bouts, with 24 of those by knockout, alongside two losses and one draw.

Fury has held the world champion title twice, first defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to capture the WBA (Super), IBF, and WBO belts, and later winning the WBC title in 2020 against Deontay Wilder.

However, he has never been an undisputed champion.

His two career losses occurred in consecutive matches against Usyk in 2024, and he has expressed a desire to seek revenge for those defeats this year.
