Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara on Wednesday tasked the five newly sworn-in Commissioners to render excellent service to the state.
The governor gave the charge shortly after swearing-in the Commissioners inside the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt.
Those who took oath of office include,
Amairigha Hart, Tonye Bellgam, Professor Temple Nwofor, Dr Peters Nwagor and Lekue Kenneth
Governor Fubara noted that the rigorous screening by the State lawmakers was fitting to prepare them for service to the State, asserting that he expects nothing but the best from them.

“My comments should be to charge you on what you’re supposed to do, how you’re supposed to operate. But I think that aspect has already been taken care of by the House of Assembly.”
“I believe that going through one of the most rigorous screenings, it is enough to say that for those of you who succeeded, you are fit and ready to deliver to our dear State.”
“So, I will wish you the best. I don’t expect anything less than the best from you. Thank you and may God bless all of you.”
It would be recalled that out of the nine commissioner nominees sent to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation, only five were confirmed by the house.
