The legal battle between N-Power beneficiaries and the federal government over the alleged non-payment of stipends continued in court today, with new developments recorded at the latest hearing.
At the proceedings today, only the third defendant was present in court.
The first, second, and fourth defendants were absent.
During the session, the court was informed that the first and fourth defendants had attended the previous hearing before the case was adjourned.
It was also disclosed that hearing notices had been duly served on the second and third defendants ahead of today’s sitting.
After confirming that the matter was properly scheduled for mention, the court ruled that the absence of some defendants would not delay proceedings.
