Former Big Brother Naija star Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has officially tied the knot, marking a major milestone in the reality TV alum’s personal life.

Cross, who won the hearts of fans with his vibrant personality during his time on the show, confirmed that he and his longtime girlfriend, Chinonso, are now legally married.

The confirmation comes months after his public proposal late last year, a heartfelt moment that quickly went viral and drew widespread celebration from fans.

The couple’s wedding journey was documented across social media, with highlights shared by close friends and family members.

Their relationship first captured heightened public attention when Cross proposed in early 2025, sparking excitement among supporters who closely followed their love story.

Their union was formalised in a traditional ceremony that celebrated culture, love, and family ties.

Wedding photos published by lifestyle platforms showed joyful scenes of the couple dressed in elegant traditional attire, surrounded by well-wishers and loved ones.

The ceremony reflected their Igbo heritage, featuring colourful outfits, traditional blessings, lively dances, and personalised cultural details.

Observers described the celebration as a beautiful display of love, culture, and unity.

Cross rose to prominence on Big Brother Naija, where his charisma and openness made him a fan favourite.

Following his time on the show, he maintained a strong public presence through music, public appearances, and active engagement with fans online. As his profile grew, so did interest in his personal life.

When news of his proposal surfaced, many followers began closely watching the couple’s journey. Social media has since been flooded with congratulatory messages celebrating the couple’s transition from reality TV spotlight to married life.

Fans have also noted that Cross’s journey reflects life beyond entertainment headlines — a reminder that genuine love stories can flourish even after the cameras stop rolling.

Cross and Chinonso’s wedding is now being celebrated not just as a personal milestone, but as a testament to lasting love beyond reality television fame.
