The Police Complaint Unit has called in the divisional police officer of the GRA Police Station in Asaba, Delta State, following allegations of falsely accusing a good Samaritan.
The petitioner, named Tomi Wojuola shared on X that he was nearly framed for murder after he rushed a dying man to the hospital.
He explained that he found the man collapsed on the street and took him to a hospital, but unfortunately, the man died.

When he went to a police station to file a report, the police officer accused him of murder and threatened him.
Tomi expressed that it was only by the grace of God that he avoided serious trouble.
In response to the online report, the Police Complaint Unit announced on its X account that the police officer has been summoned to the Force Headquarters, Abuja, for questioning next week.
The unit stated: “The divisional police officer, GRA Asaba, @DeltaPoliceNG has been summoned and will be at Police Force Headquarters, Abuja, for questioning regarding this complaint by next week.
