A Lagos-based real estate development firm, PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Limited, has concluded plans to invest several billions of naira in the proposed Green City Estate project in Akwa Ibom State.

As part of efforts to actualise the project, the company has begun sealing strategic agreements with the Akwa Ibom State government and other critical stakeholders.

In furtherance of this goal, PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with UyoInfomedia Limited for strategic sales, branding, and digital marketing of the estate.

The Green City Estate project is expected to span 30 hectares of land already secured at the Mbiakong axis of Uruan Local Government Area.

The agreement signing ceremony took place at the Hilton Gardens, along Four Lanes, Uyo.

Col. Kingsley Umoh (rtd) and Ms. Ekaette Ekanem signed on behalf of PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Limited, while Mr. Edet Etim and Mr. Michael Ekpo signed for UyoInfomedia Limited, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to promote and deliver the large-scale estate development.

Speaking at the event, Col. Umoh described the project as a major boost to Akwa Ibom’s housing sector and overall economy.

He explained that the Green City Estate project is designed to serve as a modern residential and commercial hub that meets contemporary living standards.

According to him, the partnership with UyoInfomedia Limited will enhance project visibility, streamline sales processes, and leverage digital platforms to attract investors and prospective homeowners.

“The 30-hectare project provides ample space for sustainable development, green areas, and modern infrastructure. Green City Estate is positioned to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly and well-planned communities in Akwa Ibom,” he said.

Also speaking, the Executive Director of UyoInfomedia Limited, Mr. Michael Ekpo, highlighted the importance of collaboration in driving innovation within the real estate sector.

He noted that the partnership reflects a shared vision to deploy digital solutions in property marketing and investment promotion across the state.

The event featured an interactive session where stakeholders, including realtors and industry players, engaged the developers on key aspects of the project.

Industry observers believe the partnership could set a new benchmark for digital integration in real estate marketing, while also contributing to economic growth through job creation and increased investment inflows.

Both organisations expressed optimism about the project’s future, with plans to roll out targeted marketing campaigns for the Green City Estate in the coming months.
