Fire has razer a popular furniture store, known as Enhwe Biggest Agent, along Ogbemudia Road, adjacent to Oleh Motor Park, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The fire incident that occurred Sunday evening, burnt several properties worth millions of naira, raging from industrial machines, upholstery materials, DSTV dishes, television sets, sets of completed beds, different set of dinning tables, chairs, completed and uncompleted set of chairs and several equipment for production.
The fire that raged for several hours, took the combined efforts of well -meaning individuals, including this reporter to rescued some of the equipment from the furniture store before the Delta State Fire Service, Oleh, that came late to the scene, to put out the fire.
The owner of the furniture store, Mr. Gabriel Odoko, said that the fire started through the burning of refused by one of his worker on Friday and the fire was later put out.

He noted that early on Sunday morning “around 5:00 am the Oleh vigilante called me that they saw some sign of fire around the store, I quickly rushed down to stop the fire.
“Late in the afternoon, I also went back to inspect the store to ensure everything is in order. Unknowingly to me, the fire was still burning beneath the ground around the store.”
“Later in the evening, I went for a meeting, only for me to receive a called that fire has engulfed my store.
“What I lost is more than N5 million. I don’t know where to start from again. I really need assistance, I am confused.”
All efforts made to ensure the head of the fire service in Oleh, comment on the incident, proved abortive as he was unwilling to speak.
