In a bold move to drive economic growth and tackle unemployment, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has entered into a strategic partnership with Origin Group Nigeria, a leading agro-food systems company.
The agreement, formally unveiled in Yola, is expected to usher in large-scale agricultural investment across the state. Governor Fintiri assured the company of his administration’s full support, including the provision of a secure and business-friendly environment to facilitate long-term operations.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to making Adamawa a leading agricultural hub, the governor highlighted the sector’s vital role in enhancing food security and creating sustainable job opportunities, particularly for the youth.
“We are fully prepared to offer every necessary incentive to ensure that Origin Group thrives in Adamawa,” Fintiri said.
Speaking on behalf of Origin Group, Prince J. Samuel expressed confidence in the partnership, citing Adamawa’s reputation as the third-safest state in Nigeria as a major factor behind the company’s investment decision.

“With Governor Fintiri’s leadership and a strong private sector push, Adamawa is poised for a new era of agricultural transformation that will not only revitalize the economy but empower thousands of young people,” Samuel stated.
The partnership signals a major step in Adamawa State’s ongoing efforts to harness agriculture as a catalyst for sustainable development and economic resilience.
