Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to strengthening infrastructure and improving workers’ welfare across Adamawa State, highlighting these efforts as essential to boosting productivity and enhancing service delivery.

Speaking during an inspection tour of ongoing renovation works at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola, governor Fintiri expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of the projects.
He emphasized that his government is prioritizing the judiciary, legislature, and civil service by providing modern facilities and comfortable office environments.

“The judiciary, as a critical arm of government, deserves a workspace that reflects its importance. We are investing in infrastructure that will serve both current and future needs,” the governor stated.
Governor Fintiri commended contractors handling the court renovations for what he described as excellent execution and assured that the upgraded buildings would be ready for official use soon.
He further disclosed that a total renovation of the Adamawa State House of Assembly complex is underway, while the Government House has been fully refurbished, including the construction of new offices for the governor and his staff.

Additionally, the governor revealed that several outdated civil service buildings, some dating back to the Gongola State era, have been demolished to make way for new, functional office complexes designed to meet present-day administrative needs.
On workers’ welfare, Fintiri pointed to recent strides in civil service reforms, including promotions and financial incentives. He noted that the improvements also extend to staff in the education sector, including primary school employees.

“The reforms we’ve implemented are unprecedented and have been widely appreciated by our workforce,” he said.
The governor’s remarks underline his administration’s broader agenda to enhance institutional capacity, modernize public infrastructure, and foster a more efficient and motivated workforce across Adamawa State.
