In its bid to deepen positive customer experience and create new opportunities for businesses to grow revenues, Fidelity Bank, in collaboration with OnePipe recently launched a payment gateway known as PayGatePlus to integrate financial services in their businesses and offerings.
PayGatePlus, an upgraded version of the bank’s legacy paygate product, is a payment solution and a comprehensively embedded finance platform that empowers organisations across all sectors.
The payment solution offers web payments, direct debits, balance inquiry, statements, online collection through the National Integrated Banks System Settlement (NIBSS), National Instant Payment (NIP), validation of Bank Verification Number (BVN), direct credit and Buy Now, Pay Later.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, stated this at the unveiling of the product. The Trumpet gathered.
Onyeali-Ikpe, who was represented by Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer (ED/COO), Stanley Amuchie, said: “Innovation remains a crucial pillar of our strategic framework and we are constantly looking for new ways of improving our processes and delighting our customers.
“PayGatePlus will open more opportunities for revenue growth for our customers, while improving their risk management processes and reducing their costs.

“It is on this basis that we have worked hard in the last few months with our technical partners to innovate a solution that enables businesses to access different sectors to easily integrate financial services with their product offerings.
Speaking, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OnePipe, Ope Adeoye, said the company was excited in partnering with Fidelity Bank to upgrade the payment gateway.
