The federal government is committed to improving education in Nigerian schools by providing quality environments and providing teachers with the necessary technological tools to help students succeed.

Registrar of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Ronke Soyombo shared this vision on Tuesday in Abuja, as she took office.

She explained that the TRCN plans to work with various partners to introduce technology-based programmes that are focused on students. The goal is to empower teachers and improve the way they teach in classrooms.

“The Renewed Hope initiatives led by President Bola Tinubu aim to provide top-quality education by using the skills of modern, tech-savvy teachers,” Soyombo said.

“We will focus on using the right technology to boost learning outcomes and ensure that teachers receive proper training to effectively manage their classrooms.”

Soyombo stressed that the council wants to include all teachers in its programmes, making sure everyone benefits from these improvements.

Additionally, TRCN will collaborate with teacher unions and education boards in different states to strengthen the teaching profession overall.

“Our aim is to improve working conditions for teachers so they can deliver quality education,” she assured.
