The Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia (FUASK) has officially released its proposed admission cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session, setting clear academic benchmarks for prospective students seeking admission into its various programmes.

According to the newly published list, Medicine and Surgery tops the chart with the highest cut-off mark of 240, reflecting the competitiveness and high demand for the programme. This is closely followed by the Doctor of Pharmacy at 220, while Health Information Management and Nursing Science both have a cut-off mark of 210.

Medical-related courses such as Medical Laboratory Science and Computer Science are set at 200, aligning with national expectations for science-intensive programmes. Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, and Quantity Surveying all have cut-off marks of 190, indicating the university’s growing emphasis on technology and applied sciences.

Anatomy, Physiology, Radiography, Microbiology, and Biotechnological Chemistry each have a proposed cut-off mark of 180, making them accessible while still maintaining academic standards.

Architecture also made the list with a cut-off mark of 200, emphasizing the institution’s multidisciplinary academic outlook.

Radiography – 180

Health Information Management – 210

Nursing Science – 210

Doctor of Pharmacy – 220

Software Engineering – 190

Computer Science – 200

Cyber Security – 190

Information Technology – 190

Quantity Surveying – 190

Microbiology – 180

Biotechnological Chemistry – 180

Architecture – 200

The announcement is expected to guide candidates in selecting their preferred courses and understanding their eligibility during the admission process. FUASK has continued to position itself as a top destination for applied sciences and technology education in North Central Nigeria.

Prospective students are advised to prepare accordingly for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and stay updated through the university’s official channels for further admission guidelines.
