The House of Representatives has approved a landmark bill sponsored by Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko to establish a University Teaching Hospital in Erawha-Owhe, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. The bill successfully passed its third reading on Thursday, following the presentation and consideration of a report by the House Majority Leader, Hon. (Prof.) Julius Ihonvbere.
Hon. Ukodhiko, the Isoko federal lawmaker, expressed profound gratitude to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, and other members of the legislature for their support and commitment to advancing the bill. In his remarks, he highlighted the significance of the proposed teaching hospital, noting that it would be a pivotal institution for enhancing medical education, research, and healthcare delivery in the region.
