The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have decided to cancel their planned protest in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The unions have also instructed workers under the Federal Capital Territory Administration to resume work immediately.

This decision came after a closed-door meeting involving labor leaders, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and members of the Senate Committee on the FCT.
The meeting began late on Monday night and extended into the early hours of Tuesday.
Following the discussions, both parties reached an agreement, resulting in the cancellation of the protest and the resumption of regular operations in FCTA offices.
