Human rights lawyer and activist, Dele Farotimi, has referred to the recently resigned Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, as the most honourable member of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.
Farotimi expressed this sentiment on Wednesday in a post on X (formerly Twitter), in response to Nnaji’s resignation amid allegations of certificate forgery.
Nnaji resigned on Tuesday after reports emerged that he allegedly submitted falsified documents during his ministerial screening.
In his comments, Farotimi lauded the former minister’s choice to resign, stating that it reflects a level of integrity that is lacking among other members of the administration.

He wrote: “I don’t know him, and I no send am. BUT this guy is more honorable than every other person in the cabinet, from which he has “honorably” resigned.
“When is the aspiring Hitler of Obiakpor resigning, and would the honorable prezdent be following suit?”
Farotimi’s remarks have sparked discussions about integrity and accountability within Tinubu’s government.
