Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire has been greatly criticised for the drop in points against Burnley.
United within the weekend lost their FA Cup fourth-round match against Championship side Middlesbrough in Old Trafford played a one-all draw against Burnley yesterday in a Premier League tie.
The devastated Red Devils fans have taken swipes at Maguire who they believed some of his actions on the pitch cost the club its maximum points.
According to them, United could have taken an early lead in the match courtesy of Raphael Varane’s goal which was later disallowed by VAR because Maguire who tried blocking Jay Rodriguez was caught offside.

In another incident, Maguire was lucky not to be red-carded for making a silly tackle on Rodriguez having missed a good chance earlier in the game.
Burnley got an equaliser from Rodriguez after new signing Wout Weghorst dribbled past Maguire to provide the clinical assist.
Speculatively, the captaincy of Maguire may be subjected to a review in the summer because this is not the first time he has been scrutinised for putting up shabby performances in the field of play.
