Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed the recovery of the two school children abducted at Ndiokpoto village in Igbeagu community, Izzi local government area of the state last week.
Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Joshua Ukandu confirmed the recovery and stated that one of the children is yet to be found.
He explained that police had recovered Miss Chinaza Nwachukwu, age 7 while efforts were being made to recover Miss Ngozi Nwibo.
It was learnt that the acclaimed fake Corps member took the two children to Nnewi, Anambra state where she was traced through intelligence and was arrested with one of the children.
The Trumpet also gathered that the abductor confessed that Miss Ngozi Nwibo had been sold, but efforts are on ground to recover her.
The Trumpet had reported that a self-acclaimed Corps member who’s about 40 years old identified as Miss Blessing Francis had forcefully taken away two primary school children at Nwezenyi junction, Ndiokpoto.
