The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) is offering aviation training for interested individuals who meet the target audience criteria outlined below.
Aerodrome Safety Basic Course
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
– Conduct safety risk assessments.
– Carry out daily serviceability inspections of aerodrome operational areas.
– Execute on-the-spot awareness training for aerodrome stakeholders on aerodrome safety operational procedures.
The course aims to provide newly recruited airport safety officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to adhere to safety standards and procedures within the aerodrome, promoting enhanced safety best practices.
