Everton has reached an agreement to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for approximately £28 million, despite late interest from Fulham.
The deal includes an initial fee of £24 million, with an additional £3-4 million in potential add-ons.
Dewsbury-Hall will now finalize his terms and undergo a medical examination.
Initially, Dewsbury-Hall was hesitant to leave Stamford Bridge after a season in which he played a supporting role, contributing to the team’s victories in the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League, as well as qualifying for the Champions League.

However, Chelsea was willing to let him go as they aim to recover most of the £30 million, they spent to acquire him from Leicester City in 2024, where he had reunited with Enzo Maresca, who also left Leicester to manage Chelsea.
Everton is also in talks with Southampton regarding winger Tyler Dibling, but may withdraw if the 19-year-old’s asking price does not decrease after a second bid was rejected.
In his final press conference during the Premier League Summer Series, manager David Moyes stated, “I believe there will be deals next week.
“We’re getting much closer, but I felt that way four or five weeks ago as well. We’re nearing the crucial stages and need to finalize some matters.”
