The Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA), Mr. Francis Ekpo, has condemned and frowned at the vandalization of power infrastructure in the state capital.
He made the condemnation while reacting to the vandalization of a traffic light at Harbor, by Mopol 11, before the Saint Patrick College Junction in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
Our correspondent reports that the vandalization of power infrastructure within the state capital have been on the increase in recent times.

To halt the trend, Ekpo called on all well-meaning Cross Riverians to take the state’s infrastructure as theirs and always report any illegal or suspicious movement to the nearest security agency.
“It’s one thing for the government to make provisions of some basic needs for the people, but it’s more of our collective responsibility to safeguard the equipments,” the director general stated.
He directed the public to report any issue relating to the state’s electrification equipment to his office and expect a quick response and feedback.
