In a move to deepen public engagement and test citizens’ knowledge of its operations, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has unveiled a quiz competition across major social media platforms. The initiative is set to reward participants with exciting prizes while raising awareness about the Commission’s anti-corruption mission.
Open to Nigerians on Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), the quiz is designed to spark curiosity and educate the public on the EFCC’s roles, activities, and achievements in the fight against financial crimes. It promises to be both informative and rewarding, attracting a wide range of participants from all walks of life.
According to the EFCC, questions will be drawn from its weekly television program EFCC Connect, which airs every Wednesday, and its social media educational series, Know About EFCC, posted every Thursday. These platforms have become vital tools for educating Nigerians on the Commission’s mandate, successes, and ongoing efforts to promote transparency and accountability.
